Getting there

There is no direct Delhi–Tbilisi service at the moment, so every practical routing is one-stop: Sharjah with Air Arabia, Baku with Azerbaijan Airlines, a Dubai connection, or Almaty with Air Astana — with Doha, Abu Dhabi and Istanbul also working well from Mumbai, Bengaluru and other cities. A direct service has operated before and may return. We check live routes for your dates, meet you at the airport and handle every transfer after.

Visa & entry

Indian passport holders usually apply for Georgia's online e-Visa at the official portal (evisa.gov.ge), though you may enter visa-free if you hold a valid visa or residence from certain countries such as the US, UK, EU or the GCC. Azerbaijan issues a separate ASAN e-Visa (evisa.gov.az). We confirm exactly what applies to your passport and line the visas up.

When to go

Many Indian families travel in the June–August summer holidays, swapping the monsoon heat for the cool green Caucasus and the Batumi beaches; the high mountains stay pleasant even in August. Spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October) are quieter and best for sightseeing.

Vegetarian, Jain and halal food — what is and is not possible

Pure vegetarian is straightforward. Georgian cooking has an unusually large vegetarian repertoire of its own — beans, aubergine, walnut sauces, cheeses and breads — so it is not a matter of asking a kitchen for a substitute, and we brief every restaurant on the itinerary in advance. Halal is straightforward too: Azerbaijan is a Muslim-majority country and we book halal-friendly dining across Georgia. Strict Jain is a different problem and we will not pretend otherwise: no root vegetables, no onion or garlic, and separate preparation is not a standard Georgian or Azerbaijani restaurant kitchens meet reliably. Where a group needs it we solve it with a dedicated arrangement — a travelling cook, or a kitchen booked and briefed for your group alone — quoted and confirmed before you travel rather than negotiated at the table. Do you offer Georgia tour packages from India?
