What currency is used in Georgia?
Georgia uses the Georgian lari (₾, GEL); Azerbaijan uses the manat (₼, AZN). Each is the only legal tender in its country — you'll change money on arrival or draw local cash from ATMs.
How much is 1 GEL in Indian rupees (INR)?
The lari floats, so the rate moves — as a rough guide 1 GEL is a low double-digit number of rupees; check a live converter (search 'GEL to INR') near your travel date. We quote your trip in USD, so the price is stable regardless of the lari.
Can I use cards, or should I carry cash?
