Muslim-friendly Georgia

Georgia is a Christian country, but it's easy-going for Muslim travellers — halal restaurants, mosques and respectful hospitality. We plan the halal side in advance rather than improvising.

Halal dining

Although Georgia is Christian, Tbilisi and Batumi have halal restaurants, and we book halal-friendly kitchens and arrange halal meat across your whole trip. Pork is easily avoided; we plan the meals in rather than improvise them.

Mosques & prayer

Tbilisi's Juma Mosque in the Old City is well known for Sunni and Shia praying together; there are mosques in Batumi and other towns too. We build prayer times into the day's plan and point you to places to pray.

How we plan it

We arrange halal dining, prayer times, a family pace and female guides on request, and we schedule around Ramadan if you travel then. Alcohol is optional and never pushed.
