Absheron is a small coastal park at the very tip of the Absheron peninsula, where the land runs out into the Caspian at Shah Dili cape. Despite its size and its closeness to Baku, it protects real wildlife — goitered gazelle, jackal, and the Caspian seals that haul out offshore.

It is the easiest park to reach in the country, an afternoon of coastal walking and wildlife spotting under the wide Caspian sky, with waterbirds along the shore.
