Shahdag is the largest national park in Azerbaijan and one of the largest in the Caucasus, sprawling across the high Greater Caucasus in the country’s north. It protects alpine meadow, forest and the peaks around Bazardüzü, Azerbaijan’s highest mountain.
It spans a huge range of experience: summer hiking and trekking through the mountain villages of Quba and Qusar, and winter skiing at the modern Shahdag mountain resort.
