Georgia + Azerbaijan in two weeks

Why combine them
Georgia and Azerbaijan sit side by side but feel different — Christian wine country and high mountains on one side, a Muslim-majority Caspian nation with a fast-modernising capital on the other. Two weeks is enough to see the best of both without rushing.
The route
A common shape: Tbilisi, Kakheti and Kazbegi in Georgia over about a week, then cross to Azerbaijan for Baku's Old City and Flame Towers, the khan's palace and craft town of Sheki, and Gobustan's ancient petroglyphs and mud volcanoes. We tailor the split to your interests.
Crossing between them
The simplest hop is the short Tbilisi–Baku flight; there's also an overland border, and rail has run historically though schedules change — we confirm what's operating for your dates. The entry rules differ: Georgia is visa-free for many nationalities, while Azerbaijan usually needs an ASAN e-visa, so we sequence both in advance.
